NW Care and NW Care+ are exclusive assurances that come with every NW bat purchase, offering extended protection and peace of mind beyond the standard warranty. Custom bats come with NW Care+, while premade bats include NW Care, unless stated otherwise in the product description.

Cricket Bat Warranty Info

We provide a limited warranty for NW Cricket Bats:
  • [1] Handle Warranty : 12 months coverage for the handle. Free repair if breaks under warranty (not applicable if sticker/s are removed)
  • [2] Miscellaneous Damage Warranty : 6 months of coverage for Miscellaneous damage occurred due to natural faults inside the willow such as:
    • If the bat breaks in 2 pieces from center, it will be covered under bat face warranty, A replacement will be provided if the bat falls under reasonable use guidelines mentioned below
  • [3] Bat Face Warranty : 6 months coverage for the Bat Face (playing area only, where scuff sheet is applied) (first 2 repair only at discounted price mentioned in the table above)
    • The bat face typically breaks from mistimed hits or hard balls. If damage occurs during normal use, our warranty ensures you're covered with discounted repairs
    This warranty safeguards against manufacturing faults up-to a total of 12 months. It covers repairs necessitated by reasonable use of the NW Cricket Bat. Repairs within the warranty period are free, except for return postage and packing charges if collection from our Ottawa workshop is not feasible. Subsequent repairs and servicing outside warranty are chargeable.

    Reasonable use refers to using the bat to hit cricket balls. If deemed unrepairable within the warranty period, a free replacement will be provided. No cash refunds are offered. Warranty claims require return of the product for inspection, along with proof of purchase.
    Exclusions from the warranty period:
    • Misuse &/or Yorker damage
    • Insufficient knocking in and preparation
    • Superficial cracking
    • Damaged edges, toe, or excessive use
    • Use against bowling machines
    • Damage due to moisture, dirt, or poor care
    • Removal or non-application of Stickers
    Misuse includes damage from improper shots or mishandling. Bats are typically repaired before replacement. In replacement cases, the remaining warranty period carries over. Our warranty ensures your investment is protected, reflecting our commitment to quality craftsmanship.

    Replacement & Returns Policy

    We want every customer to be confident in their purchase. If you have any concerns about the quality or performance of your bat, we’re here to help.

    If you decide to cancel or return your order for reasons unrelated to quality or performance, the following restocking fees will apply:

    • Before delivery: A 5% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover bank/Shopify payment processing fees.
    • After delivery: A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover handling, inspection, and restocking costs.

    To be eligible for a return after delivery, the product must:

    • Be returned within 15 days of delivery.
    • Be unused and in its original condition.
    • Not be personalized or laser engraved.

    Non-Returnable Items

    • Personalized or laser-engraved cricket bats.
    • Products that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer.

    Return Shipping: If you're unable to drop the product off at our workshop/store, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.  

    Ping Guarantee & Balance Promise

    If you believe your bat does not meet our quality standards, please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order with clear photos or videos of the issue.

    All quality and performance concerns will be handled under our Ping Guarantee Promise. Depending on our assessment, we may provide one or more of the following:

    • A one-time complimentary bat reshaping service (valued at $69) to optimize the bat’s performance.
    • If reshaping does not resolve the issue, we may provide a replacement bat or another suitable solution at our discretion.
    • Refund only when one of the following is not possible, on case to case basis
